Privacy Policy

Sati Sabuy is a personal project built for meditators. I’m not in the data business — I collect as little as possible, only what the app needs to save your own practice, and never sell or share it. Here’s exactly what that means.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from your Google account. You can change or remove any of these in Settings.

When you’re signed in, we store only:

  • Your meditation sessions (duration, start/end time, mood, notes)
  • Your timer presets and settings
  • Your room / streak progress
  • Feedback you choose to submit
  • Your country — only if you add it yourself (entirely optional)

What we do not collect

  • No birthdate, gender, or other sensitive personal details
  • No location tracking
  • No device fingerprinting or cross-visit tracking identifiers
  • No advertising. We never sell, share, or rent your data to anyone

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to see a rough, anonymous count of page views. It does not identify you, does not use cookies, and does not follow you across visits. That’s the only analytics on the site.

Guest users

If you use Sati Sabuy without signing in, nothing is stored on our servers. Your sessions stay only in your own browser, on your device — and if you later sign in, they’re moved into your account so you don’t lose them.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on Supabase (a PostgreSQL database) with row-level security, which means only your own signed-in account can read or change it. Your profile photo is kept in secure cloud storage.

Your data is yours

From the Journey page you can export everything you’ve logged at any time — as a CSV of your sessions, or as a complete JSON file (sessions, presets, profile, and room progress). No need to ask.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. The moment you do, your sessions, presets, profile, room, and feedback are removed from the app and your account is closed — you and everyone else lose all access to them immediately. Residual copies in routine database backups age out on the provider’s normal retention cycle.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page. Sati Sabuy is a small personal project, so changes are unlikely and will never involve selling or sharing your data.
